The HGLRC Hermes ExpressLRS 2400TX is an expansion transmitter module for large radio shafts. The module is compatible with radios with OpenTX or EdgeTX firmware. ExpressLRS (abbreviated as ELSR) is an open source project, and the transmitter and receiver modules are produced by multiple manufacturers. HGLRC Hermes is one of them. ELSR is currently one of the most advanced RC transmissions. It offers a reliable long-distance link, a high refresh rate of up to 500Hz, adjustable power, updates throught the Wifi and more. ELRS at 2.4GHz outperforms classic RC systems at the same frequency in all respects while maintaining short antennas. At higher outputs, it is also possible to use an external power supply via the XT30 connector.
ELSR has great community support. However, it is an open system that happens and changes quickly. We therefore recommend ELRS to more experienced and technically proficient pilots. All information about ELSR can be found here.
