Sequre SQ-SW3 Kondensator-Punktschweißgerät

Sequre SQ-SW3 is a compact and powerful spot welder designed for welding nickel strips on Li-ion batteries and for building Li-ion packs. The Sequre SQ-SW3 delivers a welding current of up to 2500A. It supports spot welding of nickel-plated steel up to 0.5mm, pure nickel up to 0.3mm, and copper sheets up to 0.2mm. Energy is stored in capacitors, so there is no need to connect an external high-current battery. The capacitors are continuously recharged with a lower current and provide the necessary energy for each weld. The maximum capacitor voltage is 5.6V.

Capacitor charging can be set to Fast charging (15A) or Slow charging (2A), depending on the power source. Power can be supplied via a USB-C connector with Power Delivery support, a DC barrel connector with a maximum voltage of 25V (external power supply or up to 6S LiPo battery), or through an XT60 connector (max 5.6V/15A). The XT60 input is intended for the included power supply. Connecting a LiPo battery with a voltage higher than 5.6V will damage the welder.

The welder is made of aluminum, making it durable while ensuring effective heat dissipation from the internal electronics. All necessary information is displayed on a small 1.8" LCD screen, including pulse duration, pulse interval, temperature, number of welds, and the current capacitor voltage.

Welding can be carried out in automatic or manual mode. It is possible to adjust the pulse strength and delay time between welds. In manual mode, the pulse is triggered by pressing the hand switch (recommended). Alternatively, an external foot switch can be connected (not included).

The spot welder is supplied with the WP30 holder, which keeps the welding tips at a fixed spacing for consistent welds. The WP30 also serves as a switch—pressing the welding tips activates the welding pulse. Additionally, the WP30 is equipped with a small light for easier welding in low-light conditions.
