Axisflying Smurfs is an analog video transmitter operating at a frequency of 5.8GHz with a power output of up to 1.6W. The entire video transmitter is encased in an aluminum housing, which helps dissipate heat. The aluminum heatsink also protects sensitive components from dirt. The video transmitter supports a voltage range of 7-36V and can be powered directly from a 6S battery. There is also a 5V output for powering a camera if needed. Axisflying Smurfs can be controlled via buttons or more conveniently through a control unit using the IRC Tramp protocol. For easy installation into the drone frame, the video transmitter has mounting holes sized M2 and spaced 20x20mm. The antenna is connected via an MMCX connector.
