BetaFPV Matrix G4 5in1 is an AIO board designed for 1S TinyWhoops and other small FPV drones. The board includes a flight controller, ESCs, RC receiver, analog video transmitter, and an OSD chip. It is mounted on a 1 mm thick PCB for good durability. The board is available in two versions - with connectors for easy motor connection or without connectors for soldering the motors. The board is secured only at 3 points. The front does not hold on the frame, so there is a reduced chance of damage to the flight controller during deformation of the plastic frame.
The flight controller is equipped with a STM32G473 processor and ICM42688P gyroscope. There is also 16 MB memory for blackbox. The integrated 4in1 ESCs can handle up to 12 A current in the second version and use Bluejay firmware.
The built-in 5.8 GHz video transmitter allows transmission of analog video with power options of 25/100/200/400 mW. Thanks to the support of the SmartAudio protocol, the transmitter settings are easy through Betaflight. For indoor flying, it is recommended to use 25–100 mW to reduce heat and battery consumption. The antenna connects via a u.FL connector. The RC transmission is provided by an integrated ELRS 2.4 GHz receiver connected via UART. The UART connection is available on the board and if needed, the integrated receiver can be disconnected and an external one connected. The internal ELRS receiver uses a wire antenna directly powered on the board.
