BetaFPV Meteor 75 Pro II - 1S ELRS

BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro II is a durable 1S tinywhoop with analog video transmission, suitable for flying at home, in a hall, or outdoors in the garden or park. Thanks to its ducted propellers and low weight of 27,98g without battery, it is relatively safe to fly indoors. This is the second generation of the Meteor75 Pro drone – compared to its predecessor, it is nearly 2,5g lighter, has significantly more powerful ESCs, new motors, a 16:9 wide-angle camera and longer flight time.

The Meteor75 Pro II frame is made of flexible PP plastic (polypropylene), which withstands impacts well during everyday practice. The number of arm braces has been reduced from 6 to 5, and the propeller guards (“ducts") have a curved profile, reducing both weight and air resistance. The frame itself weighs only 5,80g, almost 2g less than the first-generation frame. The motor-to-motor diagonal is 80mm. The camera is protected by a PP plastic canopy with removable decorative parts and openings for improved heat dissipation.

At the heart of the drone is the BetaFPV Matrix 1S 5IN1 II AIO board, integrating the flight controller, ESCs, OSD, receiver and video transmitter. The flight controller uses an STM32G473 processor, BMI270 gyro and 16MB blackbox memory. The drone is equipped with an ELRS receiver operating at 2,4GHz, connected to the flight controller via the CRSF serial protocol. ExpressLRS is an advanced open-source RC system with long range, low latency and a high refresh rate. The board is mounted at three points, creating a cushioning space during impacts, while the 1,0mm thick PCB further improves crash resistance. The integrated ESCs handle a continuous current of 12A (the first generation had 5A) and run Bluejay firmware with DShot300/600 and RPM filtering support.

Power is provided by BetaFPV 1102 21000Kv (2026) motors combined with three-blade Gemfan 1811 propellers with a 45mm diameter. The motor bells are made from 2000-series aluminium alloy, and the shaft is reinforced for greater impact resistance. According to the manufacturer, improved winding slot fill delivers 15 % higher efficiency, while the thrust-to-weight ratio reaches 6,33:1 with a 580mAh battery. The motors are connected via JST1.25 connectors, so replacement does not require soldering.

Video transmission is handled by the BetaFPV Air Camera with a 1/4,5" CMOS sensor, 600TVL resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and an ultra-wide FOV 173°. Compared with the conventional 4:3 ratio, it provides a 33 % wider horizontal view, making it easier to see into turns and around obstacles. The glass lens provides a sharper image and is more scratch-resistant than a plastic lens. Goggles or a monitor must support the 16:9 aspect ratio, otherwise the image will be distorted. The integrated video transmitter has switchable 25/100/200/400mW output power, 48 channels including Raceband, Smart Audio control, and transmits the signal via a linear dipole antenna. For indoor flying, we recommend 25-100mW output, which saves battery power and generates less heat.

The drone is factory configured in Betaflight, including channel mapping and OSD: ARM on AUX1, Angle and Horizon modes on AUX2, flip over after crash (“turtle mode") on AUX3, and a beeper for finding the drone on AUX4.

Recommended batteries are 1S LiHV with a capacity of 480-680mAh and a BT2.0 connector. With a BetaFPV LAVA II 580mAh battery, flight time reaches up to 10,5 minutes; with 680mAh capacity, up to 11,5 minutes depending on flying style. Batteries are not included.
