BetaFPV VR02 are compact analog FPV goggles with built-in antennas. They are primarily intended for beginner pilots who want a simple and lightweight solution for transmitting images from an FPV camera. Weighing under 300 g, they are comfortable even during long flights.
The goggles feature integrated antennas with a gain of 14 dBi. The LCD screen with a diagonal of 4.3″ has a resolution of 800×480 pixels, which is sufficient for displaying analog video signals. The screen is located on the top of the goggles and displayed via a mirror. This makes the goggles more compact and avoids the use of a Fresnel lens, resulting in a sharper image. The field of view is 55°.
The goggles can perform fast channel scanning and sweep frequencies, which display the occupancy of individual bands. Power is supplied by a built-in 1S battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh, which lasts up to 2 hours. The battery charges via a USB-C connector.
