Caddx Ratel Ultra

Caddx Ratel Ultra is a micro-sized analog camera suitable for freestyle and long-range drones flying at dusk and at night. Its main advantage is the extreme light sensitivity of 0.00001 Lux, allowing the camera to capture even weak ambient light and reduce image noise. The camera is mounted using two screws on each side – similar to Walksnail Avatar digital transmission cameras.

The camera uses a large 1/1.8" sensor and features 1500TVL resolution. It supports 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios and PAL and NTSC standards, making it compatible with various goggles and monitors. The wide-angle lens with a 125° field of view provides a good overview of the surroundings. Super WDR (wide dynamic range) compensates for backlighting and sudden lighting changes, for example when flying from shade into sunlight, while preserving detail in highlights and shadows. Day/night modes can be switched between Auto, Color, B&W and EXT. The camera can be powered within a range of 4.5-26V, but we recommend powering it from the flight controller's 5V BEC.

The camera has its own OSD menu with settings for exposure (brightness, BLC backlight compensation), white balance (automatic and manual), contrast, sharpness, color saturation, 3DNR noise reduction and video format. The menu is available in ten languages, including Polish, and allows settings to be saved or restored to factory defaults. The menu is accessed by a short press of the included control board, which the manufacturer recommends disconnecting after setup is complete. The camera measures 19.5x19.5x28.1mm.
