Cube Orange+ Standard Set is a combination of the Cube Orange+ flight controller and the standard Carrier Board, a carrier board for the Cube system that integrates connectors and simplifies wiring in unmanned aerial vehicles. The carrier board also integrates ADS-B for receiving data from other aircraft.

Cube Orange+ is a powerful flight controller designed for demanding UAV applications where reliability, redundancy, and sensor accuracy are crucial. The design is based on the modular Cube concept, where the computing unit (FMU) is physically separated from the carrier board.

At the core of the Cube Orange+ is a high-performance STM32H757 processor supplemented by a separate I/O processor that ensures safe control of outputs even in case of a restart of the main unit. The system offers triple redundancy of inertial sensors, specifically three accelerometers and gyroscopes, one magnetometer, and two MS5611 barometers. All sensors are connected via SPI, which ensures high sampling frequency and minimal latency.

The unit supports 14 PWM outputs and is suitable for both multirotors, fixed-wing aircraft, VTOL platforms, or ground robotics. Powering the Cube Orange+ is designed with an emphasis on safety and diagnostics. The unit supports power from a power module, servo rail, or USB, with the system automatically selecting the source with the highest priority. The operating range is 4.0–5.5 V. Thanks to the monitored pins, detailed logging of voltage and current events is possible, including the states of the main and backup power. Flight data is stored on a microSD card, which is required for the full functionality of the system and recording flight logs. Cube Orange+ is not waterproof and requires external moisture protection.

Carrier Board with integrated ADS-B IN is a carrier board designed for the Cube system. It is suitable for larger unmanned aircraft.

The carrier board features a built-in uAvionix ADS-B IN receiver operating at 1090 MHz, including an integrated ADS-B antenna. This allows it to detect aircraft equipped with ADS-B OUT around the UAV. Information about surrounding traffic, such as position, altitude, speed, and aircraft identification, is transmitted to the flight controller and subsequently displayed on the ground station. The board also supports alert, warning, and avoidance functions in the ArduPilot system.

The Carrier Board uses the standard Cube interface through a DF17 80-pin stack connector and outputs peripherals through JST-GH 1.25 mm connectors. Available ports include GPS1 (8-pin), GPS2 (6-pin), TELEM1 and TELEM2 (6-pin), I2C_2 (4-pin), 2x CAN (4-pin), and a pair of power inputs POWER1 and POWER2. For acoustic signaling, a BUZZER connector is provided.

The board is rated for 4–5.5 V with a nominal input current of 2.5A. The board features a standard RCIN and 14 PWM outputs for controlling up to 8 motors or servos.
