Herelink Air Unit 1.1 is a unit for installation on a drone or aircraft compatible with the Herelink controller. The Herelink system enables the transmission of HD video, telemetry, RC control, and connection of devices with an ethernet interface. Herelink operates in the 2.4 GHz band. The video latency is approximately 110 ms with a range of up to several kilometers. Herelink is designed for advanced drones with ArduPilot or PX4 systems and stabilization.
Herelink Air Unit 1.1 features 2× micro HDMI connectors for connecting cameras, 2× S.Bus outputs for transmitting RC signals from the Herelink controller, and a UART connector for transmitting MAVLink telemetry from the drone's flight controller. The unit can be powered in the range of 6–12 V.
The body of the unit is made of aluminum alloy, ensuring mechanical resistance and efficient heat dissipation. The weight of the unit including antennas is approximately 98 g, and the dimensions of 78.5 × 30 × 15 mm allow integration into smaller platforms. The supplied antennas for the 2.4 GHz band connect via MMCX connectors.
Version Air Unit V1.1 is extended with an SD slot for future use and an Ethernet interface that allows access to network devices and extends functionality through network protocols. The Micro USB port is used for debugging and firmware updates.
