DarwinFPV ApeStyle X5 Analog – 6S ELRS mit GPS

DarwinFPV ApeStyle X5 Analog is a durable 5" freestyle drone with analog video transmission, suitable for acrobatic flying and longer flights with a GoPro-type action camera. This is the Standard version, which, compared to the basic Lite version, additionally features a GPS module and a rear LED module with two buzzers. It comes in the BNF version with an ELRS receiver at 2.4GHz.

The frame uses a Wide X configuration with a diagonal motor-to-motor distance of 215mm. The separate 5mm carbon arms are reinforced at the mounting points. Their roots are recessed into the frame with a tongue-and-groove joint, preventing play in the structure and reducing the risk of arm breakage in a crash. The extended top plate accommodates higher-capacity batteries for longer flight times. The frame has mounting positions for an XT60 connector at both the front and rear, allowing the wiring to be adapted to your preferred layout and kept tidy. The rear LED module with 49 LEDs and two buzzers makes it easier to find the drone after a crash or in low light.

The electronics consist of a DarwinFPV Cement F4 + Cement 60A stack, fully potted in protective compound and rated IP67. It is protected against water, dust and vibrations. The flight controller uses an AT32F435 processor clocked at 288MHz and has 16MB of blackbox memory; it has no barometer. It comes with Betaflight firmware installed. The drone is equipped with an ELRS receiver at 2.4GHz. A DarwinFPV M1018 GPS module is mounted at the front, where it experiences less interference from the video transmitter. It receives signals from GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS systems, displays speed, distance and direction to the take-off point in the OSD, and after configuring GPS Rescue in Betaflight, enables automatic return to the take-off point. The ESCs handle a continuous 60A and run BlueJay firmware. The propulsion system consists of DarwinFPV 2507 1800Kv motors combined with Gemfan Hurricane 51499 tri-blade propellers. The larger 2507 stator motors offer higher low-RPM torque than the usual 2207 motors, making the drone more stable in hover and more resistant to wind.

Video is captured by a DarwinFPV H1 FPV camera and transmitted by a DarwinFPV 5.8GHz video transmitter with adjustable output power of 200/600/800/1600mW, controlled via Smart Audio. Do not power on the video transmitter without an antenna connected.

Recommended batteries are 6S with a capacity of 1300-1500mAh and an XT60 connector. Batteries are not included.

The IP67 rating applies only to the stack with the flight controller and ESCs; the drone as a whole is not waterproof.
