DarwinFPV Cement F4 +100A BL32 wasserdichter Stack

DarwinFPV Cement F4 100A is a waterproof flight controller and ESC combination suitable for 5-10" FPV drones powered by 3-8S LiPo batteries. Both boards are potted in a protective compound resembling concrete – hence the "Cement" series name. The stack meets IP67 protection rating and, according to the manufacturer, can withstand submersion to a depth of 0.5m for 30 minutes. This makes it suitable for flying in rain, snow, dust or over water. The potting also protects the electronics from impacts, solder splashes and grass juice, while the stack remains close to standard assemblies in size and weight. This version is equipped with an ICM42688 gyro.

The flight controller is based on an AT32F435 processor clocked at 288MHz combined with an ICM42688 gyro. The board features an AT7456E OSD chip for analog video and solder pads for connecting a digital video transmitter (10V power, SBUS and UART). The Blackbox records to 16MB memory. There are 5 UARTs (UART1, 2, 3, 5 and 7) for a receiver, GPS or video transmitter, an I2C bus for a compass, 4 motor outputs, pads for RGB LEDs and a buzzer. The board does not have a barometer. Peripherals are powered by dual 5V/3A and 10V/3A BECs. Instead of standard plug connectors that can come loose, everything is connected by soldering to pads. The USB-C connector is waterproof and has its own cover. Multi-stage LED indicators on the board show the status of the power rails, gyro and flight controller, allowing any fault to be quickly identified. The board runs Betaflight firmware with the DARWINF435 target.

The ESC is a 4-in-1 with BLHeli_32 firmware and continuous current of up to 100A per channel. It is controlled by a 32-bit AT32F421 processor at 120MHz with a dynamic 16-128kHz PWM frequency for smoother throttle response. The ESC uses a "sandwich" construction with 24 current busbars, 3oz copper and thermally conductive silicone, which according to the manufacturer significantly improves heat dissipation. It is equipped with Toshiba MOSFETs, Murata ceramic capacitors and a protective DIODES TVS diode to protect against voltage spikes. It includes startup protection (soft start), reverse polarity, short circuit, overcurrent and overtemperature protection. It supports DShot150/300/600/1200, MultiShot and OneShot, telemetry, and has a current sensor (scale 125). A Panasonic low-ESR 1000uF/35V capacitor and 14AWG power cable are factory soldered.

Important notice: According to the manufacturer, continuous current of 100A per channel is achievable only with water cooling.

Both boards have 30.5x30.5mm mounting spacing and factory-installed softmounts. The flight controller and ESC are connected by an 8-pin cable.
