FatShark Dominator HDO+

FatShark Dominator HDO+ are FPV goggles with OLED displays for receiving analog video in the 5.8GHz band, suitable for advanced pilots and anyone who wants only the best. Compared to the previous HDO2 generation, they offer a wider field of view, higher-resolution displays and completely redesigned optics with focus and IPD adjustment.

The image is displayed on a pair of OLED SeeYA 0.49" displays with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. OLED displays ensure high contrast and vivid colours. The field of view is 50° diagonally. For analog video, the 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios can be switched, while the goggles automatically detect the PAL/NTSC standard. Each eye has a separate focus wheel with -6 to +2 diopter adjustment and its own interpupillary distance slider (IPD 57-70mm), so pilots do not need to wear prescription glasses under the FPV goggles. The display menu allows adjustment of contrast, brightness, sharpness, saturation and OLED panel output. Higher output increases brightness but significantly reduces battery life, so we recommend keeping the value at 50 or below. The faceplate comes with curved inserts that can be removed to adapt the goggles to the face shape and reduce light leakage. An integrated fan reduces lens fogging.

The goggles do not have an integrated receiver. They feature a standard module bay for an analog receiver module selected by the pilot (sold separately). The number of channels, diversity or fusion, and antenna connector therefore depend on the selected module. In addition to RF reception, the goggles have a mini HDMI input for 16:9 digital video, for example from an external digital receiver or simulator. They also feature a 3.5mm AV input/output and a stereo headphone output.

The goggles feature DVR and record received analog video to a microSD card up to 32GB in AVI format (MJPG, 30fps, 6Mbps). Recording can be started manually, automatically when the goggles are switched on, or in a loop with the oldest recordings overwritten. Recordings can be played back directly in the goggles. The DVR records analog video only and does not record the digital input. A memory card is not included.

Power is supplied through a DC connector at 7-25V (2-6S). The goggles monitor battery voltage and issue an audible alarm when it drops. Battery not included. The goggles weigh 236g and come with a case.

Important warning: Do not leave the goggles in direct sunlight. The optics focus sunlight onto the OLED displays and may cause irreversible damage. Such damage is not covered by the warranty. Store the goggles in the case when not in use.
