FlyfishRC Hunter is a 5" frame suitable for racing. The frame weighs 51 grams (without 3D-printed parts) and fits propellers up to 5.1" with a motor-to-motor diagonal distance of 190mm. The frame is available in variants according to the compatible camera type (RunCam Racer Nano 4, Foxeer Predator Nano 90 V2, HDZero Nano 90 V2)
The entire construction is cut from T700 carbon fiber, which offers higher strength and fatigue resistance than standard carbon fiber. The arms are made from 5mm carbon fiber, the top plate is 2mm thick, while the middle and bottom plates are 2.5mm thick. This distributes impact force between the arms and the central plate during a crash, extending frame lifespan. The arms are secured with precision shoulder screws („shoulder screws") with an anti-vibration locking system that prevents the joints from loosening due to resonance. Each arm can be replaced after loosening just two screws, reducing service time between runs on the track.
The stack is mounted on a 20x20mm (M3) pattern, with a height of 22mm available for electronics. Motors are mounted on a 16x16mm (M3) pattern. The camera mounting width is 14mm, i.e. Nano size. The package includes three TPU camera mounts with fixed angles of 45°, 51° and 53°. The angle can be selected according to the track layout, flight speed and pilot style. The package also includes a TPU antenna mount and two fins („shark fins"), which serve as a carrying handle and help with flipping the quad over after a crash (turtle mode).
Camera, flight controller, ESC, motors and video transmitter are not included.
