FlyfishRC M10 GPS mit Kompass

FlyFishRC M10-IST8310 is a GPS module with an integrated compass suitable for drones and RC airplanes with iNav, Betaflight or Ardupilot firmware. The module uses the modern u-blox M10 (M10050) chip, which has better sensitivity than the older M8 generation and acquires satellites faster. The chip supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, SBAS and QZSS signals and can track up to 32 satellites on 72 channels. The GPS module is equipped with a ceramic patch antenna measuring 18x18mm for a good compromise between size and reception.

Unlike the more common QMC5883L compass, the module is fitted with the more accurate and sensitive IST8310 magnetometer. The GPS is connected via UART (RX, TX pins), the compass via the I2C bus (SDA, SCL pins). The update rate is 10Hz, horizontal accuracy 1.5m and the power input range is 3.3-5V. Thanks to its dimensions of 20x20x11mm and weight of 9g, the module is suitable for 5" and larger drones.
