FlyfishRC Volador VD4 O4

Flyfish Volador VD4 is a precision-crafted freestyle frame for 4" props. The frame is in a Deadcat configuration, where the front arms are pushed further back and distracting prop edges are not visible in the camera image. The frame can accommodate the DJI O4 Pro unit, analog transmission, and the Walksnail Avatar system.

The frame is cut from top-quality carbon T700, which has better strength than the commonly used carbon (T300). The arms are made from 4mm thick carbon. This not only increases the impact resistance but also, due to high strength, reduces vibration transfer from the motors to the flight controller. The frame is very well crafted. The edges of the frame are beveled, so there is no risk of cable cutting against a sharp edge. The camera is protected by a metal mount made from durable aluminum alloy 7075, which is also commonly used in drones for quality motor manufacturing. The camera itself is seated in a silicone insert, which absorbs vibrations and helps improve video quality. The frame also includes plastic side plates that protect the electronics from dirt. The frame has a number of 3D printed parts, including arm protectors, a GoPro camera mount, or an antenna. On the top plate, the frame has a silicone pad that increases friction between the frame and the battery, minimizing the chance of battery slip during a fall.

The frame has M3 mounting holes for 20×20mm and 30.5×30.5mm stacks. At the rear, there is space for a video transmitter with mounting holes of 20×20mm and 25.5×25.5mm M2.

The frame is delivered in black.
