Flywoo DJI O4 Wide MP66

Flywoo DJI O4 Wide was created through a collaboration between Flywoo and Runcam. It is an original DJI O4 unit with a different camera lens, giving it a wider FOV 159°. Included are plastic rear camera covers that serve as a mounting adapter. Due to the change in FOV, DJI Rocksteady may not always work properly, Gyroflow stabilization is fully functional.

DJI O4 is a top-tier digital video transmission system for smaller FPV drones or racing FPV machines. The set consists of a camera, a transmission module, and one antenna. DJI O4 offers image transmission in 1080p at 100 fps with a data rate of up to 60 Mbps. The unit enables video recording directly on the drone in up to 4K resolution and 60 fps. Video is stored in internal 23GB memory. Image stabilization is possible immediately using DJI Rocksteady or later using Gyroflow. For racing pilots, Racemode is available with latency as low as 20 ms. The transmission supports Canvas Mode for classic OSD from the flight controller. Power is supplied from a 2–3S LiPo battery (3.7–13.2 V). The transmission module has M2 mounting holes with a spacing of 25.5 × 25.5 mm.

DJI O4 is intended for use with DJI Goggles 3 or DJI Goggles N3 goggles and DJI Controller 3.

DJI O4 can also be used with DJI Goggles 2 or DJI Integra and DJI Controller 2. In that case, however, Racemode is not available and the maximum bitrate is limited to 50 Mbps.

DJI O4 Wide Air Unit is standardly supplied with the I469D gyro, which may cause image jitter on some frames when stabilization is used. Replacing it with the MP66 gyro solves this problem without affecting functionality, however MP66 chips are already discontinued and their stock is limited. Replacement with MP66 is performed only by Flywoo technicians. After the service intervention, minor marks may be visible on the unit.
