GEPRC M10I GPS is a GPS module with an integrated compass suitable for 5" and larger drones with Betaflight, iNav, or Ardupilot firmware. The module uses the modern tenth-generation u-blox M10050 chip, which offers better sensitivity than the older M8 generation and acquires satellites faster. It supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS, and SBAS systems and tracks up to 32 satellites on 72 channels. The large ceramic 18x18mm antenna ensures good signal reception.
Unlike the more common QMC5883L compass, the module is equipped with the more accurate IST8310 magnetometer for reliable heading data. The GPS is connected via UART (u-blox protocol), the compass via the I2C bus (SDA, SCL pins). Integrated Flash memory and a farad capacitor store the configuration and enable a fast hot start, while the module status is indicated by an LED. The update rate is 10Hz, horizontal accuracy is 1.5m, and the power supply range is 3.3-5V. This M10I variant includes a compass, but no barometer; the version with both compass and barometer is available as M10-DI.
