Heewing T2 Cruza is a larger FPV aircraft with a wingspan of 1200 mm, building on the Heewing T1 Ranger and offering higher payload capacity and longer flight time. The recommended takeoff weight is 1.5–2.5 kg. The construction is made from durable EPP foam, which can be easily glued together. The model is designed as an efficient cruiser for longer flights, not as a speed special. The maximum speed is around 120 km/h. The minimum speed is around 35 km/h.
The aircraft is suitable for installation with a flight controller with a GPS module and analog or digital FPV transmission. Control is provided by ailerons, elevator, and rudder. The rudder has less effectiveness and is mainly used for fine corrections, while the ailerons and elevator perform the main work. For better landing characteristics, it is possible to equip the model with flaps, which slightly reduce the landing speed.
There is enough space in the fuselage for a flight controller, GPS module, and wiring. The nose has space for the FPV system. The model can be easily disassembled for transport, the wings and elevator are removable, allowing it to fit into a smaller car trunk.
During normal flight on 6S 3000 mAh, the model draws approximately 4–5 A at 30–40 % throttle and consumes about 500 mAh for 4 minutes of flight. This corresponds to a flight time of about 25 minutes during typical cruising. Full throttle means a draw of around 31 A and power of approximately 730 W, but the model is designed to fly significantly more efficiently most of the time. To achieve maximum flight time, the model can be equipped with a Li-ion pack.
The model comes as PNP - included in the package are motors, speed controllers, and servos. You need to add an RC receiver and possibly FPV equipment, flight controller, and GPS module. The motors and servos are pre-installed in the wings, other electronics are not installed.
