HelloRadio V12

HelloRadioSky is a lesser-known manufacturer of RC transmitters, but they have their place. HelloRadio V12 is currently one of the best-equipped gamepad-style transmitters on the market.

The transmitter fully supports EdgeTX firmware and features an integrated dual-band ELRS module with a power of up to 1000mW based on the LR1121 chip, supporting frequency bands of 868MHz and 2.4GHz. For good compactness, the transmitter has an integrated antenna. Cooling for the ELRS module is ensured by two built-in fans and an aluminum heat sink for stable operation at higher power. On the back, there is a Nano bay for potential external modules.

The radio is powered by an STM32H7 processor for quick response. The front features a 2.4" color display, which is not touch-sensitive. For long battery life, the transmitter is powered by two 21700 Li-ion cells (sold separately). The battery can be charged via a USB-C connector on the top, which also serves for connecting to a simulator or transferring files to the transmitter.

The transmitter has two rocker switches, one latching button and one non-latching, six backlit buttons, and two sliders that return to the center position. Control is provided by hall gimbals. For easy transport, the sticks can be unscrewed and stored in the back of the transmitter. The transmitter settings are through 4 buttons and a 3-axis roller. A built-in speaker and support for vibration are standard features.
