iFlight Borg Race 5.8G 200mW is a compact analog video transmitter with mounting holes 20×20 mm designed for racing FPV flying. With dimensions 25×25×3.7 mm and a weight of only 3.5 g, it is also suitable for small 2–3" drones. The input voltage 4.5–28 V (2–6S) allows powering the transmitter directly from the battery or BEC.
The transmitter offers 16 channels divided into two bands — Band R (Raceband, 5658–5917 MHz) and Band L (5362–5621 MHz). The power is switchable to levels PIT/25/100/200 mW, the settings are made via the flight controller using the IRC Tramp protocol or through a button directly on the board.
The video transmitter features an u.FL connector for connecting an antenna. On the sides of the board, there are pads for connecting an external LED strip (5V + signal). This output is protected by a current limiter set to 1.5 A — if a short circuit occurs in the LED wiring during a crash, the limiter prevents current overflow to the board, thus protecting the rest of the electronics from damage.
Do not power the video transmitter without an attached antenna.
