iFlight Chimera7 - 6S ELRS mit GPS

iFlight Chimera7 ECO is a 7.5-inch long-range copter suitable for longer outdoor flights. Due to its size, the drone is particularly suitable for mountains or carrying a larger HD camera. The frame is in a Deadcat configuration, where the front arms are shifted more to the sides and back, and the propellers do not obstruct the camera's view.

The frame has a diagonal motor distance of 327 mm. The center of the frame is covered with plastic side panels that protect sensitive electronics from dirt. At the rear of the frame, there is a fixed XT60 connector that minimizes the chances of battery cables getting tangled in the motors. The drone is equipped with a long FPV antenna, which is screwed on via an SMA connector.

The propulsion is provided by powerful XING-E 2809 1250Kv motors with HQ 7.5×3.7×3 propellers, which provide more than enough power even when using a larger battery. The core of the electronics is a BLITZ ATF435 flight controller complemented by BLITZ E55S 4-in-1 ESCs with a current load capacity of 55A. Video transmission is handled by an analog FPV camera combined with the BLITZ Whoop 5.8G 1.6W video transmitter, whose power is adjustable in the range of 25-1600 mW. The drone comes with an ELRS receiver operating at a frequency of 2.4 GHz and a GPS module that allows automatic return to the launch point.

For regular flying, the recommended battery is a 6S with a capacity of 3300 - 4500 mAh. For maximum flight time, a 6S2P LiIon battery made from 21700 cells can be used.
