iFlight Mach R5 Ultra Trainer

iFlight Mach R5 Ultra Trainer is a 5" racing frame with a diagonal motor-to-motor distance of 190 mm. The complete iFlight Mach R5 Ultra Trainer 6S drone is built on the same frame. The frame itself weighs 73 g, making it suitable for a lightweight and fast racing build.

The frame has a compact X geometry and dimensions of 157x148x33 mm. It features four separate arms made of 5 mm carbon fibre, clamped between the bottom and centre plates. After a crash, only the damaged arm can be replaced. The top and bottom plates are 2 mm thick. The motors use 16x16 mm (M3) mounting holes.

In the centre of the frame, there is space for a stack with 20x20 mm (M3) mounting. A height of up to 22 mm is available for the flight controller, ESC and VTX. The manufacturer states compatibility with analogue transmitters such as the BLITZ Mini Force 600 mW and BLITZ Race 25 mW, as well as the digital HDZero Race V3. The frame is therefore designed for analogue video transmission or the HDZero system, which racers prefer due to its low latency.

An FPV camera with a width of 14 mm (Nano) is screwed into a TPU mount at the front of the frame, protecting it from impacts.
