iFlight Nazgul Evoque F5 V3

iFlight Nazgul Evoque F5 V3 is a 5" frame suitable for both freestyle and cinematic flying, built around the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro digital video transmission system. The main new feature of the third version is its convertible DeadCat / True X geometry. In the default DeadCat configuration, the front arms are spread outward so the props are not visible in the camera view, which is especially appreciated by pilots shooting smooth footage. By converting it to symmetrical True X, the drone gains more balanced and sharper handling for dynamic freestyle. The frame is converted by relocating several screws; the arms and other parts remain unchanged.

The construction is designed for durability — the arms are 6mm thick, while both the top and bottom plates are 3mm thick. The motor-to-motor diagonal is 236mm in the DeadCat configuration and 239mm in True X. Motors mount on a 16x16mm M3 pattern, while the stack uses a 20x20mm M3 pattern with a height of up to 25mm. The video transmitter has 25,5x25,5mm M2 mounting holes and space up to 13mm high.

The DJI O4 Air Unit Pro is positioned at the front of the frame, contributing to better signal reception and cleaner cable routing. Beneath it is a fin-shaped cooling channel („fin-shaped cooling channel"), which dissipates heat from the video transmission even in warm weather. The previous 3D-printed TPU parts have been replaced in the V3 version with injection-molded plastic parts featuring more precise fitment and a smoother surface. In addition to the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro, the frame is compatible with iFlight BLITZ Mini Force 600mW and BLITZ Whoop 1.6W video transmitters. According to the manufacturer, the older DJI O3 Air Unit does not fit this frame.

The frame weighs 256g ±10g. In addition to the frame, the package includes injection-molded parts, screws, two IPEX to RP-SMA antenna pigtails, two non-slip battery pads, and two lipo straps. Electronics, motors, props, and an action camera mount are not included.
