Jumper T20S V2 is a high-quality radio with EdgeTX firmware and a 1W ELRS module. Jumper T20S is an ideal choice for those looking for a compact radio without compromises. The radio measures 185x188x68mm, which is significantly smaller than the Boxer or TX16. Despite this size, it uses large RDC90 gimbals. Just like larger radios, the Jumper T20S V2 provides 6 switches and 6 potentiometers. Additionally, there are six adjustable buttons available. The radio also features joysticks for trim adjustments, which can be reconfigured and used as additional switches. For easier transport, it has a foldable rotary antenna. All information is displayed on a 1.3" OLED screen. A major advantage is the integrated memory that replaces the traditional SD card, significantly increasing the radio's reliability.
On the back, we find active cooling for the ELRS module. Power supply is also noteworthy. The compartment fits two Li-ion batteries (not included). The radio has a compartment for a larger 21700, which significantly extends battery life. Batteries are conveniently charged via the USB-C connector.
A great advantage of the radio is the mentioned integrated ELRS module with a power of up to 1000mW and a refresh rate of up to 1kHz. ExpressLRS (shortened to ELRS) is an open-source project and transmitting and receiving modules are manufactured by multiple manufacturers. ELRS is currently one of the most advanced RC transmission systems. It offers a reliable link over long distances, high refresh rates, adjustable power, Wi-Fi updates, and more. ELRS at 2.4GHz outperforms traditional RC systems in all respects while maintaining short antennas.
The Jumper T20 and T20S transmitters differ in the gimbals used. The Jumper T20 uses hall gimbals, while the Jumper T20S uses premium RDC90 gimbals. Version 2 primarily features active cooling and a more powerful processor.
The item was unpacked. The radio is like new, showing no significant signs of use. The protective film on the display was removed.
