The Maple Wireless directional antenna for the 4.7–5.9 GHz frequency range is designed to extend the range of video transmission from drones or 5 GHz WiFi devices. The antenna has a gain of 14 dBi with a radiation angle of 40° in the horizontal plane and 38° in the vertical plane. It features linear polarization, making it particularly suitable for digital video systems such as OpenIPC or SIYI, which typically operate with linear antennas. Combining it with an RHCP or LHCP antenna results in a 3 dB signal loss. The antenna is equipped with an RP-SMA connector. A 45° adapter is included in the package, which also serves as a reducer to an SMA connector. The antenna measures 68×60×25 mm and weighs 36 g.
