Pilotix Apex 8 is a carbon frame suitable for building an 8" long-range quadcopter. The frame has an X arm configuration, which gives it high rigidity and durability.
The frame is designed for motors with mounting holes 19 mm M3 and propellers up to 8". The frame has a diagonal motor distance of 348 mm and arms made of 6 mm thick carbon. The top and bottom plates are made of 2,5 mm thick carbon and the center plate is made of 2 mm thick carbon. The stack mounting holes have a spacing of 30,5 x 30,5 mm M3. The camera is mounted between carbon side plates, which increases the overall rigidity of the frame and protects the camera from damage. In the rear part of the drone, there is space for mounting the video transmitter. The video transmitter mounting holes are prepared with spacing 30,5 × 30,5 mm M3, 25,5 x 25,5 mm M2 and 20 × 20 mm M2.
