Pilotix PT-15 Lite

Pilotix PT-15 Lite is a 15" frame suitable for building a long-range drone. The diagonal motor spacing is 610 mm. For good durability and rigidity, the arms are cut from 9 mm thick carbon and connected to each other by carbon braces. A carbon part is placed between the arms to prevent arm movement. The arms themselves are secured with two screws for easy replacement.

The frame is designed for use with individual ESCs, which have a reinforced area on the arms for easy installation. This shortens the motor cables and the ESCs are well cooled by the airflow from the propellers.

The frame is composed of a bottom, middle and top plate. The middle plate has space in the center for mounting a stack with 30,5 x 30,5 mm spacing or a flight controller with 20 x 20 mm spacing. Thanks to the ample space, larger 4-in-1 ESCs can also be used. In the rear part of the frame there is space for mounting a video transmitter. For easy installation, mounting holes with 30,5 x 30,5 mm spacing (M3), 25,5 x 25,5 mm (M2) and 20 x 20 mm (M2) are available. In the front part there are the same mounting holes plus 40 x 40 mm spacing (M2) for mounting AI boxes of some FPV cameras. The frame includes a 3D printed mount for securing a Micro-sized camera. There is enough space between the standoffs for larger cameras, including DJI O4 Pro.

The top plate can hold batteries up to 26 cm long. In its rear part there is another set of mounting holes for attaching a video transmitter. A 3 mm thick anti-slip battery pad can be attached to the top plate.

Both plates are made of 3 mm carbon. The space between the middle and top plate is 35 mm. The overall dimensions of the frame are 460 x 405 mm. The frame includes a 3D printed mount for the SMA connector, ELRS antenna, and two 45 cm Lipo straps.
