Pilotix Rocky 8 SE is a carbon frame suitable for building an 8" long-range quadcopter. The frame has a Deadcat arm configuration, where the front arms are shifted further outward, so the distracting propeller edges are not visible in the FPV camera.

The frame is designed for motors with a 19 mm M3 mounting pattern and propellers up to 8" in size. The frame has a diagonal motor spacing of 333 mm and 7 mm thick carbon arms, which provide high rigidity and durability. The bottom and middle plates are made of 2.5 mm carbon, and the top plate is 2.5 mm. Mounting holes with a 30.5 x 30.5 mm M3 spacing are prepared for the stack. The FPV camera is mounted in a 3D printed holder that slides onto the standoffs. The frame includes a 3D printed holder for Micro-size cameras (19 mm). In the rear part of the drone, there is space for mounting the video transmitter. The video transmitter has prepared mounting holes with 30.5 × 30.5 mm M3, 25.5 x 25x5 mm M2 and 20 × 20 mm M2 spacing. The overall frame dimensions are 333 x 254 x 43,5 mm and the weight is 270 g.
