Radiomaster GX15 Max ELRS Gemini 2,4 GHz

Radiomaster GX15 Max is a top-tier transmitter with a touch color display on the top and a 2.4 GHz Gemini ELRS transmitter. It will be especially appreciated by pilots of RC aircraft, helicopters, and other models that are not operated via FPV and where a good view of the transmitter display is important.

Its main advantage is the aforementioned 3.5" IPS touch display with a resolution of 480x320 pixels, 262 thousand colors, and a brightness of 600 nits. It is placed above the controls, so it is not covered by the strap or the pilot's hands. Telemetry, timers, and model data remain readable even in direct sunlight. The system is powered by an STM32H7 processor, which ensures smooth EdgeTX operation. Data is stored in 512 MB of internal flash memory or on a microSD card up to 32 GB in FAT32 format (an inserted card disables internal memory).

The internal transmitter module consists of a pair of Semtech SX1281 chips, each with an output of 250 mW. The transmitter module operates in ELRS Gemini 2.4 GHz mode. Antenna switching mode and single-antenna operation are also supported. ExpressLRS is an advanced open source RC system with long range, low latency, and a high refresh rate. With compatible receivers, the GX15 can achieve a refresh rate of up to 1000Hz. The radio has two integrated antennas hidden behind the display frame, one horizontal and one vertical. It therefore provides polarization diversity without any protruding antennas. The transmitter module is actively cooled by a quiet fan combined with aluminum heatsinks.

Control is handled by AG02 hall gimbals CNC-machined from aluminum with adjustable stiffness and travel (38-54° vertical, 30-56° horizontal). Adjustment screws are accessible from the outside without needing to disassemble the transmitter. There are six three-position switches, one two-position switch, one momentary switch, two rotary knobs, two sliders, six trims, and six buttons for a six-position channel. The gimbals and the six center buttons are backlit by programmable RGB LEDs. The rings around the gimbals and the buttons can be color-customized, including dynamic effects. The side switch modules are replaceable – they can be swapped for momentary buttons or blanked off. 

On the back there is a JR bay for an external transmitter module. The built-in gyroscope allows logical switches, gimbals, or voice telemetry to be controlled by tilting the radio, and the built-in microphone is ready for future functions. The USB-C connector is used for charging, simulator connection, firmware updates, and data transfer.

The radio is powered by a pair of 18650 cells, or a 2S LiPo battery or 21700 cells – batteries are not included. The charging circuit is designed for cells with a nominal voltage of 3.7 V and a charging voltage of 4.2 V per cell.

Compared to the standard version, the GX15 Max features AG02 CNC-machined aluminum gimbals in anodized red, black, or gold, improved aluminum buttons, an aluminum knob, and a case with a carbon-look finish for a premium feel. Integrated RGB LED diodes around the gimbals provide customizable lighting controlled by LUA scripts.
