Radiomaster TX16S MKII is a flagship transmitter trusted by top FPV pilots. It is a classic full-size radio, and its large display plus numerous switches make it suitable not only for FPV drones but also for more complex models.
The Max version includes all the premium upgrades Radiomaster offers. It comes with precision-milled AG01 aluminum gimbals. Four ball bearings ensure an ultra-smooth feel and precise response to even the smallest stick movements. Contact-free hall sensors eliminate wear and improve accuracy. Spring tension and stick travel (38°–54°) can be adjusted externally without opening the case. The sticks are complemented by 13 AUX switches. A large 4.3" color touch TFT (480 × 272 px) displays menus and telemetry. Dual speakers provide voice alerts, and a headphone jack is available for noisy environments. A top USB port lets you connect to a PC for simulator practice.
For pilots who prefer physical navigation, the TX16 retains the familiar scroll wheel and four buttons—machined from aluminum in the Max version. The radio runs open-source EdgeTX firmware, fully customizable. It is powered by two 18650 Li-ion cells (not included) or a 2 S pack, charged via the bottom USB-C port. The Max version also adds an aluminum carry handle and leather side grips.
A major highlight is the integrated ELRS module. ExpressLRS is an open-source RC link that delivers long-range reliability, high refresh rates, adjustable output power, Wi-Fi updates, and built-in Bluetooth. At 2.4 GHz it outperforms traditional RC systems while keeping antennas short. Bluetooth is ideal for wireless simulator use. A standard JR module bay on the back lets you add external RF modules if desired.
