Rotorama Calypso 3"

Rotorama Calypso 3" is a small and durable freestyle frame for 3" propellers. Calypso 3" weighs just under 39 grams and is designed for both analog and digital video transmission systems. Calypso has arms made of 4mm thick carbon, which are held not only by 2 M3 screws, but also by latches in the side plates at the front. This keeps the arms firmly in place and lets them withstand more than one crash. The front side plates are made of 3mm thick carbon and safely protect the camera. 3D prints can then be easily mounted on the top standoffs, whether it is an HD camera mount or GPS. The top and bottom plates are made of 2mm thick carbon to keep the weight within reasonable limits. Calypso can fit two 20x20mm stacks one behind the other. It can therefore comfortably accommodate Caddx Vista or a hybrid HD camera. Instead of holes, the stacks are mounted into oval slots, so the position of the stacks can be adjusted so that both fit comfortably in the frame. Under the front stack there is a cutout for placing a capacitor. The distance between the top and bottom plates is 24mm, which leaves plenty of space for all components. Any antenna mount can then be placed on the rear standoffs. The package includes a mount for an SMA pigtail or the antenna supplied with the Caddx Vista.
