Smoke Stopper XT60

Smoke stopper is a simple component - a fuse with connectors, which in case of high current consumption cuts off the power supply to protect the electronics. It is primarily used for testing components or during the first connection of a battery to a newly built copter. If you made a mistake during soldering and there is a short circuit in the electronics, the smoke stopper disconnects the power supply and ideally prevents component burning. 

The current for disconnecting the power supply is adjustable to 1 or 2 amperes. The value can be changed by soldering pads on the smoke stopper. Once this threshold is exceeded, the power supply is disconnected within hundreds of milliseconds. The smoke stopper is reusable and uses a fuse to cut off the voltage. The status is indicated by an LED.
