ToolkitRC M8P 600W

ToolkitRC M8P is a compact multifunction charger for 1-8S lithium batteries with up to 600W output power and a charging current of up to 20A. It has no built-in power supply – it is powered via an XT60 connector from an external DC power supply or battery within a range of 7-35V (max. 25A). The full 600W output is available at higher input voltage, around 30V according to the manufacturer's graph. With dimensions of 99x72x35mm and a weight of 180g, it easily fits in a pocket or backpack.

It charges, discharges and balances LiPo, LiHV, LiFe, Li-ion and LTO batteries in the 1-8S range, as well as NiMH 1-20S and lead-acid batteries. For lithium batteries, it also offers storage mode and end voltage adjustment in 0.01V increments. The balancing current is 1000mA with balancing accuracy below 0.005V. Batteries can be discharged internally (max. 3A/20W) or in regenerative mode up to 600W/20A – energy from the discharged battery is returned to the battery connected to the input. The same output is also available when discharging into an external load. The charger stores up to 32 battery profiles and can charge selected smart batteries for consumer drones.

In addition to charging, the M8P serves as a measurement and testing tool. It measures individual cell voltages and their internal resistance, reads PWM, PPM and SBUS signals and can also generate them – making it suitable as a servo tester or ESC tester. It also works as an adjustable bench power supply 1-35V/1-20A in CC/CV mode. The USB-A port (5V/2.1A) powers a phone or other small devices and is also used for firmware updates.

Data is displayed on a colour 2.4" IPS display (320x240px) that remains easy to read outdoors. The display is not touch-sensitive – it is controlled using a metal scroll wheel and an EXIT button. Cooling is provided by a built-in fan that activates according to the internal temperature. The battery connects to the XT60 output connector and 2-8S balance port on the front. Important warning: always check the selected battery type and cell count before charging. Never charge batteries unattended.
