Iris F118E V3 is a carbon frame designed for building lightweight 3″ toothpick drones. The frame combines a low weight of 9.4g and high strength due to the 3mm thick carbon, making it suitable for agile small quads.
For mounting the flight controller, there are mounting holes with a spacing of 20×20mm and 25.5×25.5 mm. The newly enlarged holes allow for the use of a flight controller with a vertically placed USB connector. The motor holes are M2 type with a diagonal spacing of 9mm. Thus, the frame is compatible with most common components for 3″ toothpick drones.
The package includes only the carbon plate without a canopy. Thanks to the standard mounting holes, the frame is compatible with a wide range of canopies available for 3D printing.
