Walksnail Avatar HD Moonlight Kit

Walksnail Moonlight kit is a combination of a camera, video transmitter and antenna for the Walksnail Avatar digital system. Walksnail Avatar enables video transmission in Full HD (1080p) or HD (720p) quality with low latency of 22ms and a high refresh rate of 60/120fps and data rate of 25/50mbps. The Walksnail Avatar system supports the so-called Canvas mode, which allows classic full-featured OSD to be displayed in the image, just as you are used to from the analog world.

Walksnail Moonlight is used not only for video transmission but also for video recording. Moonlight can record video in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. The camera uses a so-called starlight sensor, which provides a good output even in poorer lighting conditions. Moonlight supports EIS stabilization and also records gyro data, so the image can be easily stabilized in Gyroflow. For an optimal image, the camera allows manual adjustment of ISO and shutter speed. An ND8 filter is also included. The transmitter module has a slot for an SD card up to 256GB.

The transmitter module uses two LHCP antennas connected via a u.FL connector. For easy installation in the quadcopter, the video transmitter has mounting holes with spacing of 25.5x25.5mm and 20x20mm M2. The camera is Micro size. It is connected to the video transmitter by a cable 14cm long. The aspect ratio is switchable 4:3/16:9. The lens used is M12 2.1mm.

The video transmitter can be powered by 7.4-25.2V (2-6S). When powering directly from a 6S battery, a capacitor of at least 470uF/50V must be used at the input.
