Walksnail Avatar VRX is a standalone digital HD video receiver for the Walksnail Avatar system. The receiver has a Mini HDMI output on the bottom side and can be connected to analog FPV goggles, a monitor, or a TV. The Walksnail Avatar digital transmission enables video transmission in full HD (1080p) or HD (720p) quality with low latency of 22 ms and a high refresh rate of 60/120 fps and data throughput of 25/50 Mbps. The receiver features 2 RP-SMA connectors. Two omnidirectional antennas and two integrated directional LHCP antennas are included as standard.
The receiver is powered via a standard coaxial DC connector 5.5/2.1 mm with 7-25 V (2-6S). The Walksnail VRX has a SD card slot for cards up to 256 GB, on which it can record the received image. The Walksnail Avatar system supports the so-called Canvas mode, which allows standard full OSD to be displayed in the image, as you are used to from the analog world. Also worth mentioning is the ranging mode, where the goggles estimate the drone's distance. This way you always know how far away you are, even without a GPS module.
