Walksnail Ascent Goggles are box-style FPV goggles for digital image transmission Walksnail Ascent.

Walksnail Ascent is an HD system designed mainly for beginners and recreational pilots looking for a cost-effective alternative to analog video transmission. Ascent is a standalone system and is not compatible with the Walksnail Avatar system. It supports transmission modes 720p / 120fps for lower latency (recommended) and 1080p / 60fps for higher image quality. The system is especially suitable for shorter-range flights, where it offers a much cleaner and more stable image than analog. Ascent supports OSD for Betaflight and INAV. There are 3 standard channels and up to 8 channels in debug mode.

The goggles use a single 4.5" LCD display with Full HD resolution and a 60 fps refresh rate, giving them an impressive FOV of 75°. Removable lenses can be placed in front of the display to help compensate for possible vision defects. The goggles have an integrated receiver for Ascent video transmission and two integrated directional LHCP antennas with a gain of 4.9 dBi. The digital image can be recorded to an SD card of up to 256 GB. The goggles are powered via a standard coaxial DC connector 5.5/2.1 mm with 6–25.2 V (2–6S).
