XF Headtracker Datalink Pro

Headtracker Datalink Pro is an expansion kit for the XF Headtracker that enables wireless transmission of the pilot's head movements directly to a gimbal on the RC model over a distance of up to 4 km.

The headtracker itself (not included) converts head movements into control signals, which are transmitted via the Datalink to the ground unit and then to the gimbal, drone flight controller, or RC transmitter. This allows the pilot to control the camera, rudder, or other model functions by simply moving their head.

The system consists of the C-20 Base Plate, which serves for the mounting of the gimbal and video transmitter (DJI O4 Pro, O3, Walksnail Moonlight/Avatar). The base plate supports the installation of a fan and heatsink for DJI and Walksnail units, and also distributes power and signal cables. The transmitter module plugs directly into the dedicated connector on the headtracker. It is powered directly from the headtracker, reducing the operating time to approximately 1.3 hours. The receiver unit connects to the base plate, which links it to the gimbal or flight controller. Power is supplied by the base plate, which can be connected to a 2–6S LiPo battery.

Pairing the transmitter and receiver units is done with a simple button press. LED indicators clearly show the connection status, and once linked, head movements are transmitted instantly, allowing the gimbal to respond in real time.

The system is compatible with a range of FPV components, especially digital video transmitters such as DJI O4 Pro/O4/O3 and Walksnail Moonlight/Avatar. Various types of gimbals can be connected to the base plate, and there are also outputs available for servos.

The base plate is equipped with PWM outputs and a 5V BEC output for powering a fan and other accessories.
