BetaFPV P1 HD VRX Standard

BetaFPV P1 HD VRX Standard is a standalone receiver for the ArtLynk digital video transmission system with mini HDMI video output.

ArtLynk is an open digital HD video transmission system for FPV. Thanks to a shared standard, flight units, FPV goggles and receiver modules from different manufacturers are mutually compatible. The system includes brands such as BetaFPV, HGLRC, SkyZone and TJRC. ArtLynk transmits video in 1080p at 60 fps with latency of around 60 ms and offers a significantly clearer and more stable image compared to analogue transmission. It is an affordable alternative to DJI and Walksnail for pilots who want HD quality without the closed ecosystem of a single brand.

The receiver sends video via mini HDMI to any device with an HDMI input — FPV goggles, monitor, TV or, for example, a Radiomaster AX12 radio. On the bottom is a 1/4" tripod mount for attaching it to a tripod, and there is a fan inside to cool the module.

Video is received by two antennas with RP-SMA connectors in the 5.3-5.8 GHz band. Two modes are available: normal with 3 channels (5758, 5788 and 5828 MHz) and race mode with 16 channels in the 5340-5917 MHz range, allowing you to avoid interference from Wi-Fi networks or other pilots. The signal strength on all channels can be measured simultaneously directly in the channel menu. Transmission bitrate is up to 25 Mbps, with a manufacturer-rated range of over 400 m. At the bottom of the image is an OSD telemetry bar — current channel, drone and receiver battery voltage, transmission rate, distance from the flight unit, link status, and SD card status in both the receiver and flight unit.

The receiver records video to a microSD card (up to 1 TB, manufacturer recommends U3/V30 class) and recordings can be played back and deleted directly in the menu. We recommend stopping recording after the flight by pressing the Record button again, otherwise the file may not be saved. Controls include a five-way joystick (5D), Back button and Record button; pairing with the flight unit is initiated using the Bind menu item. The transmit power and bitrate of the flight unit and its camera settings can also be adjusted here.

Power is supplied externally via a DC 5.5x2.1 mm connector within a 5.5-26.4 V range, directly from a 2-6S LiPo battery; a power cable terminated with XT60 is included. The built-in buzzer warns of low voltage — on 2S when voltage drops below 5.5 V, and on 3-6S when one cell drops below 3.5 V. Important notice: when powering from a 2S battery, we recommend monitoring the voltage and replacing the battery promptly after the buzzer warning, otherwise the video will suddenly shut off.
